Japanese seafood rice

Japanese gomoku rice

(五目炊き込み御飯)

 

Ingredients

300g Japanese white rice 
250g Chicken breast    
3 Shiitake mushroom    
1/2 Carrot    1
150g Age/Deep fried Tofu   
Edamame (optional)
(A) Sake   2Tbs
(A) Soy sauce   2Tbs
(A) Mirin   2Tbs
(A)  Dashi water   400ml
Green onion (minced)


Instructions

1. Wash rice and drain water and let it rest for 30 min.

2. Cut shiitake mushroom, carrot, deep fried tofu into slice strips

3. Cut chicken breast into small pieces.

4. Into the rice cooker, add mixed ingredients(A), shiitake mushroom, edamame, deep fried tofu, carrot, and chicken breast.

5. Once cooked, garnish with minced green onion on the top of rice.
