Yaki Udon

(焼うどん)

 

Ingredients

Sesame oil  2 Tbs
Shiitake mushroom 6
Onion  1
Cabbage   4 leaves 
Carrot  ½-1
Pork sliced   200-250g
Salt&Pepper 
3 frozen Udon noodle    800g
(A) 4 Tbs oyster sauce
(A) 4 Tbs water
(A) 4 tsb  soy sauce
(A) 2 tsb  sugar
(A) 2 Tbs sake
(A) 1 tsb curry powder sesame oil 2 Tbs


Instructions

  1. Slice onion, carrot, and mushrooms. Chop the green onions. Cut pork belly into 2cm slices.

  2. Combine (A) for sauce.

  3. Microwave frozen udon noodles at 700W for 3 minutes or defrost enough to separate noodles.

  4. Heat up pan, add sesame oil then add pork. Stir-fry over low heat.

  5. When the pork is cooked through, raise the heat to medium and add onion, carrot and mushrooms. Stir-fry until tender, lightly season with salt and pepper

  6. Add Udon noodle into (5) then add combined sauce (A) and mix well.
